Dr. Michael Dennis is chief executive and chief scientific officer of BlueBio Green Solutions. Prior to this, Dr. Dennis was chief executive officer of Genome Atlantic. He conducted his post-doctoral studies at the Institut Pasteur in Paris, and received a PhD in biochemistry from the Université de Montreal, and a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Dalhousie University.

Dr. Dennis is the former chief executive officer of SignalGene, a TSE-traded genomics company based in Montreal. He also served as president of BioQuebec, the Quebec biotechnology industry association, and sat on several advisory committees and boards of directors.

Dr. Dennis founded the biotechnology company, BioSignal. Under his direction BioSignal established a profitable business in the development and commercialization of gene-based products for pharmaceutical testing and raised several rounds of venture capital financing. Before entering the business world, he was an active researcher in molecular biology at the Biotechnology Research Institute of the NRC and with the Université de Montreal.
