Jennifer Robichaud

Director, Corporate Resource Development, Innovacorp

Jennifer Robichaud is the director of corporate resource development at Innovacorp, an organization enabling innovative early stage Nova Scotia companies to accelerate commercialization of their technologies and increase competitiveness in export markets. In this role, Jennifer focuses on human resources management, and facilitates annual business planning activities and corporate governance. Further, as part of Innovacorp's start-up business mentoring offering, Jennifer extends both tactical and strategic human resources management advice to client companies.

Jennifer joined Innovacorp in August 2009, bringing with her over 13 years of regional and global human resources management experience.

Most recently, Jennifer was the senior human resources business partner, for the Atlantic provinces for BMO Financial Group.  In this role, she was responsible for ensuring human resources policies and procedures were implemented consistently across all BMO Financial facilities in the Atlantic Provinces for over 800 employees. Working with the senior management team, she developed several human resources strategies and a succession plan.

Prior to this, Jennifer was the global human resources manager at Flagstone Reinsurance, ensuring the company was in compliance with the employment laws of each country from which employees were hired. Jennifer also spent eight years with ExxonMobil Canada in a variety of increasingly senior positions, and was a member of the eastern Canada senior leadership team.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in psychology from Mount Saint Vincent University and an Advanced Diploma in human resources from the Nova Scotia Community College. Since 2000, she has been a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).
