Innovacorp today announced the list of Nova Scotia start-up companies moving on to round two of the I-3 Technology Start-Up Competition.

Innovative Nova Scotia companies will have better access to capital thanks to a $2-million investment in a fund designed to support high-performance clean technology companies.

Today, Nova Scotians proved there is no shortage of innovation happening right here, as Innovacorp received 133 submissions to its I-3 Technology Start-Up Competition.

Immunovaccine Technologies (IVT), a vaccine development company, announced today that it has appointed Gary Dodge, CA, as Chief Financial Officer.

More than $700,000 worth of seed investment and business building services will be awarded to 10 start-up companies in the 2009 provincial I-3 Technology Start-Up Competition.

ImmunoVaccine Technologies Inc. (IVT), a Canadian vaccine development company, has signed an agreement with UK-based Scancell Ltd., the operating company of Scancell Holdings Plc (SCLP.PL), which is developing therapeutic cancer and infectious disease vaccines. This research agreement will explore the potential of usingIVT’s DepoVax™ delivery system for Scancell’s novel ImmunoBody® DNA vaccines.
