Shift Challenge is a competition to encourage Nova Scotia start-ups to build and develop products and services for an aging population.
Entrants must have a new knowledge-based product or service with annual sales revenue of less than $1,000,000. Funds awarded will be used to support the completion of prototypes or preparation for taking the product or service to market.
Entering was easy. You simply had SUBMIT a six-slide PowerPoint presentation on how your start-up will address one of our challenges or one you’ve identified. The deadline was Thursday, February 15, 2018, at 5:00 pm AST.
Competition finalists will have five minutes each to pitch their business to judges at the Silver Economy Summit on March 6, 2018, at the Halifax Convention Centre. This will be followed by a five-minute question and answer session.
You’ll find all the details about eligibility rules, evaluation criteria, the competition process and timelines in the SHIFT CHALLENGE INFO KIT.
