Much has been made of Nova Scotia’s advantage when it comes to ocean science and technology, but what is happening outside our borders and what can we learn from it to build on our promise here at home? You can watch a stream of this session on our YouTube channel.

Find out over breakfast on Monday, December 12, 2016, at the Innovacorp Enterprise Centre.

Boston-based ocean technology expert Justin Manley will share the trends he’s seeing in ocean innovation and incubation/acceleration both at home in Massachusetts and in his travels around the globe. Then, our local authority in the field, Jim Hanlon, will give us details on COVE, the Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship opening in April 2018. Finally, entrepreneur Tom Knox will describe his ocean innovation start-up experience and success story.
