Jennifer Hamilton, PhD, Senior Director, New Ventures (Canada), Johnson & Johnson Innovation (www.jnjinnovation.com) – Jennifer is the senior director of new ventures at J&J Innovation. Formerly, she was responsible for scouting opportunities in Canada as an advisor to J&J Innovation. Jennifer previously held a similar role as an advisor to the company’s corporate of¬fice of science and technology. Prior to joining J&J Innovation, she spent 10 years as a venture partner at UK-based Nomura Phase4 Ventures, an international life sciences fund. Jennifer was also an investment director with Rothschild Asset Management, which managed two publicly traded funds and invested over $50 million in Vancouver life sciences companies. Jennifer has also worked as an advisor to early and late-stage companies, venture funds, pension funds and pharmaceutical companies, giving financing, business development and M&A advice.
