Steve Withrow, Founder & Principal, Trinity International Consultants Inc. – Steve is an international oceans technology market consultant based in Massachusetts. For the last 30-plus years, he has been focused on developing and implementing business plans aimed at introducing new technologies, establishing collaborative partnerships, pursuing economic growth opportunities, and enhancing the global market presence for organizations focused on marine and environmental sciences and technology.

Jim Hanlon, CEO, Halifax Marine Research Institute Inc. (HMRI) – – Jim is a 30-year veteran of the Canadian technology industry, having worked in design, marketing and management for companies in Atlantic Canada, Ontario and New England. His career has spanned the aerospace and defence sectors as well as the marine environmental monitoring field. Over the years, Jim has worked in senior positions with several large publicly traded multinationals. He also experienced the entrepreneurial world as an owner of two successful technology companies that were eventually purchased by multinationals. Prior to joining HMRI as CEO in 2012, he was president of Ultra Electronics Maritime Systems. Jim is a registered professional engineer in Nova Scotia and holds an MBA in marketing from Saint Mary’s University.
