Rob Begg, Director of Product Marketing, Radian6 (www.radian6.com) - Rob is director of product marketing at Radian6, a social media monitoring and engagement platform for public relations, marketing and customer support professionals. Prior to Radian6, he founded Village Communications, a marketing consultancy that helps companies grow their sales, markets and/or community by using internet marketing, social media and communications. Rob has been a marketing executive for online media and software start-ups in Canada and the UK. He has almost two decades of experience in the media, interactive and technology industries. Rob is often sought to speak about online marketing, media and interactive television.
Jeff MacArthur, President, MGImedia Communications (www.mgimedia.ca) - Jeff is president of MGImedia Communications, a usability, social media, video production and design agency. Clients have included Microsoft, Rogers, GoDaddy, Tony Robbins, Canada Goose, and the Ontario Economic Summit. He is co-creator/co-host of the popular commandN.tv video podcast and producer of the Girls Go Geek series with AmberMac on Xbox LIVE. Having worked with companies such as Electronic Arts and Mainframe Entertainment, Jeff now leverages his technical and creative skills through a wide variety of web-related projects involving social media, user experience design, online strategies, branding, and more.
Christine Larade, Communications Specialist, Bell Aliant (www.bellaliant.ca) - Christine is responsible for Bell Aliant's social media strategy. Having graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University in 1996 with a bachelor of public relations, she has spent the past 13 years at Bell Aliant and its predecessor companies, working in the areas of online communications, communications and public affairs, and business marketing. Christine, along with other members of Nova Scotia's social media community, is working to kick-off a Social Media Club, the world's largest community of social media professionals. A recent presenter at Podcamp Halifax, Christine enjoys meeting with other business professionals to discuss the growing significance of social media today.
