Maple Leaf Angels (Toronto)

They possess deep expertise in the information technology, manufacturing, alternative energy, finance and services areas, and typically invest in these sectors, but consider other opportunities as well. The group's typical initial investment size ranges from $250,000 to $500,000, and they also participate in subsequent financing rounds. Maple Leaf Angels considers syndication opportunities with other angel investors, venture capital funds and early stage private equity firms.

First Angel Network (Atlantic Canada)
The First Angel Network (FAN) is a not-for-profit organization that bridges the gap between entrepreneurs and capital in Atlantic Canada through communication, education and networking. The member-based organization offers a forum for angel investors to increase their exposure to quality, pre-screened investment opportunities and expand their network of likeminded investors. FAN also provides entrepreneurs the opportunity to approach a community of active investors.
