Jean-François Pariseau, Partner, BDC Health Venture Fund (WWW.BDC.CA) – Jean-François joined BDC Venture Capital in 2001 and has over 17 years of investment and entrepreneurial experience in the life sciences sectors. Prior to joining BDC, he was an investment manager with CDP Capital Technology Ventures, a $2 billion global fund investing in healthcare, IT and advanced technologies, where he was responsible for healthcare investments in Canada and the U.S. Over the years, Jean-François has invested and managed more than $200 million in biopharmaceutical and medical device companies in North America. Previously, he was CEO of a consulting company specializing in regulatory affairs and vice president of R&D for a pharmaceutical distribution company, both of which he founded. Jean-François holds a B.Sc. in biotechnology from Université de Sherbrooke, an M.Sc. in biomedical sciences from Université de Montréal, and an MBA from HEC-Montréal. He sits on the boards of AngioChem Inc., Osprey Pharmaceuticals Inc., Profound Medical Inc., and BioQuébec.

Amine Benmoussa, Investment Analyst, BDC  Health Venture Fund (WWW.BDC.CA) – Amine joined BDC Venture Capital in 2011. He has over six years of experience in banking and venture capital. Prior to joining the BDC Health Venture Fund team, Amine held progressive roles in lending and investment at BMO Financial Group and was part of the new economy investment team at the Solidarity Fund QFL, first as a financial analyst-in-residence for the life sciences team and subsequently as a consultant for IT and life sciences. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Concordia University and an MBA from HEC-Montréal and is completing graduate studies in corporate law at Université de Montréal. Amine complements his international profile with work and living experiences in Morocco and Singapore.
