Robert is the director of investments at MEDTEQ, a health technology consortium whose mission is to accelerate the commercialization of innovative solutions by supporting collaborative projects among teams of industrial, academic and clinical partners. He oversees MEDTEQ's $14 million fund.

Robert is passionate about technology, democratization of access and the cutting edge. He started his career as an aerodynamicist, then went on to co-found Oculogica, a New York City based medical device start-up that focused on developing a diagnostic for concussions. More recently, he was the director of business development at the MedDev Commercialization Centre, where he focused on investing in medical device start-ups. Robert holds a B.Eng. and an M.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
