Intellectual Property Workshop
Join us on Thursday, April 3, at the Technology Innovation Centre in Dartmouth for a workshop on intellectual property (IP) with Cecile Klein. Cecile is a business development officer with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO), the entity responsible for registering patents, trade-marks, copyrights, industrial designs and integrated circuit topographies in Canada.
In this one-hour session, you’ll learn the importance and strategic use of IP, and gain an understanding of trade secrets, patents, trade-marks, copyrights and industrial designs. You’ll leave with useful resources and tips as well as links to IP publications and other online tools.
