Early September means back to school, and we think you should kick off your education by learning about Cape Breton game developers Cold Furnace Studios.

Join Lori Shepherd, CCO, and Mark Wheeler, CEO, of Cold Furnace Studios at our TecSocial on Thursday, September 6, 2018.

Cold Furnace Studios produces video games and provides military advisory for the entertainment industry. It creates immersive, multi-platform games with mature and adult-only (AO) rated experiences and intense storytelling.

The company is veteran operated, with team members who are serving with or retired from the Canadian Armed Forces and the US Military. The team creates realistic combat experiences on screen for users.

The company relocated to Cape Breton from New Brunswick in the spring. While several employees are working locally, others work remotely from around the globe.

Lori has vast experience in the high budget gaming industry, international law enforcement, and working with security organizations. Mark is a serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces. It’s through Mark’s experience being deployed in several international conflicts, his military leadership and his combat experience that he’s able to deliver amazing games.
