Diaphonics, a leading provider of IT security solutions based on biometric voice verification, has been chosen by Larimer County (Colorado) Community Corrections for the development and implementation of an advanced telephone verification and information system.
Based on Diaphonics' Spike Server platform, the system is designed to provide defendants with pre-trial information, reporting schedules and electronic monitoring. The system leverages Spike Server's voice verification and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) capabilities to ensure a high level of security and functionality.
According to Joe Ferrando, director of community corrections, Diaphonics offered the most complete solution. "We are pleased with our partnership with Diaphonics on our integrated voice recognition and voice biometric project. The Diaphonics team has demonstrated the utmost professionalism, customer service and technical support in working with us to custom develop our requirements for both inbound and outbound calling services," said Ferrando.
"We are excited to work with Larimer County Corrections on this noteworthy project," said Andy Osburn, Diaphonics president and CEO. "With Spike Server, we are able to deliver many compelling, secure calling applications, all on a single platform. The product provides significant flexibility along with such advanced features as voice verification, call recording and call scheduling."
Diaphonics uses its proprietary biometric voice verification engine for advanced telephone-based authentication. With voice verification, a caller's identity is confirmed by a spoken password that is matched to a pre-recorded vocal template, or voiceprint. The company's solutions are used today in banking, enterprise help-desk, law enforcement and other industries.
