Dear Innovacorp clients,

You’ve likely heard about changes the Nova Scotia government is making to the way it supports businesses growing and investing in the province. You can read details about those plans here.

We wanted to be in touch with Innovacorp’s clients to assure you it’s business as usual until the new Crown corporation — Invest Nova Scotia — is established.

The Innovacorp team is still closing new investment deals, meeting with new prospects and co-investors, and supporting its existing portfolio. The incubation facilities are hopping like always, a cohort of acceleration program start-ups is about to graduate, and the industrial biotech and agritech companies the team is supporting in Cape Breton are hitting their milestones. Plus, Innovacorp has submission calls open for four new start-up programs right now!

In short, Innovacorp’s team continues to find, fund and foster Nova Scotia start-ups. And that work will continue after the new Crown corporation is established.

We look forward to telling you more about the new entity in the months ahead. Invest Nova Scotia will work with start-ups like yours and those at other stages of growth, and it will attract new investment to expand our economy.

In the meantime, please reach out to us if you have questions.

Sincerely,

Team Innovacorp
