Basalite Bringing Green Concrete to the Emerald City

Seattle may be nicknamed the Emerald City due to its lush forests, but thanks to Basalite Concrete Products, Seattle is about to get even greener.

Basalite announced Friday (March 15, 2014) that it will be expanding its green concrete masonry offerings by installing CarbonCure’s technology in its Dupont, Washington, plant.

Highlights from the 2013-2014 I-3 Competition Awards Event


On February 12, 2014, over 300 Nova Scotians celebrated innovation and entrepreneurship in the province at the World Trade and Convention Centre in downtown Halifax. That evening, Innovacorp announced Heimdall Networks as the provincial winner of the I-3 Technology Start-Up Competition. The event also toasted to the 1st and 2nd place award winners from the competition's five provincial zones and the four sector winners in information and communications technology, life sciences, clean technology and oceans technology.
