Halifax-based software company Oris4 has announced that Wade McCallum has been hired as vice president of sales. McCallum left his role as vice president of enterprise sales at Salesforce.com to join Oris4.

“Wade has all of the ingredients of a sales leader. The right mix of sales, business development, and entrepreneurial spirit to drive sales,” said Reza Kazemipour, Oris4’s Silicon Valley-based CEO. “Most importantly for us, he understands how to sell into large enterprises. His experience selling to international brands and building teams to reach those brands is what drew us to him.”

McCallum joins Oris4 at a critical time in its growth. The company is solidifying its sales partnerships and attracting the attention of larger companies as customers and partners. His primary focus will be on building sales traction with major customers and partners. McCallum’s role originated at Salesforce.com through its acquisition of Radian6, where he helped build the enterprise sales infrastructure for that company as it grew to dominate the market.

Even within large companies like Salesforce.com, I worked hard to ensure I was building the business from the inside out,” said McCallum. “Oris4 gives me the opportunity to build on the great strides the team has made to date. We will build another international software success story from right here in Halifax.”

McCallum’s first goal will be to work through the existing Oris4 pipeline and open opportunities there. From there he’ll work across his contacts globally outlining how Oris4 can help build their business.
