Minecraft Proceeds to go to Brookland Elementary in Sydney, NS

Ubique Networks, developer of technologies to optimize latency for real-time applications over the Internet, is hosting a Minecraft Hunger Games Tournament Saturday November 5, 2016, for all ages to raise donations for Brookland Elementary School in Sydney, NS.

Ubique (U-BEE-KWAY) is encouraging everyone to participate and no experience is necessary. There will be experienced gamers on site to help, and it will be a fun environment to play and meet like-minded individuals. Food and beverages will be provided and there are prizes to be won.

Brilliant Labs will also be on site with Robots, a 3D Printer and much more.

Proceeds from the tournament will go to help Brookland Elementary which was severely affected by the flood on Thanksgiving weekend.

“Brookland Elementary was severely affected by the flood that ravaged Cape Breton on October, and Ubique wants to do all it can to help the students get back on track with their education,” says Vijai Karthigesu, Founder and CEO of Ubique.

Ubique wishes to thank the following sponsors for their generous help for this fundraiser tournament: Cape Breton Partnership, McDonald’s, Subway, Cape Breton Beverages, PVP Gamers Dungeon, UIT Start-up Immersion, Brilliant Labs, GameOn Laser Tag and Swiss Chalet.

Minecraft is a virtual land where users can create their own worlds and experiences, using building blocks, resources discovered on the site and their own creativity.

Ubique Networks will host this tournament on their SwarmioTM Gaming Platform in a Hunger Games Style mini game.
