QRA Corp, an emerging leader in design verification technology, announced that Carl Daniels has joined in the new role of vice president of business development. This acquisition comes on the heels of QRA’s February 2017 launch of QVscribe – QRA’s latest tool for analyzing requirements documents and finding vulnerabilities fast.
“I’m very proud of the international relationships and sales our business development team has formed over the past few years,” said Jordan Kyriakidis, QRA Corp co-founder and CEO. “However, at the heels of our latest product launch, we’re currently receiving more attention and requests than ever before. To handle this demand, we needed somebody who deeply understood our customers' needs, with proven experience serving the aerospace, defence, and other high-technology sectors. Carl has over 20 years of experience, and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome him to our growing team.”
With a successful track record of introducing innovative companies to the aerospace and defence industry, as well as his most recent role as sales and marketing director at Ultra Electronics Maritime Systems, Carl brings new capabilities for engaging with large OEMs, as well as expanding upon QRA’s current partnership with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. Looking forward with aerospace as a baseline, Carl will lead the business development team to seek new opportunities in markets such as marine, automotive, industrial manufacturing, and energy.
“What’s exciting is that we are building leading edge software in Atlantic Canada while capturing the attention of a worldwide marketplace – a prime example of the exciting culture of innovation that is emerging on the East Coast,” said Carl Daniels, QRA Corp vice president of business development. “With an initial focus on responding to the hundreds of inquiries we have received from the successful launch of QVscribe, I foresee a very busy start to this new career and am proud to be joining the QRA team.”
