The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS), in collaboration with Innovacorp, is presenting Nova Scotia companies the chance to meet two expert advisors who can explain how to grow their company and seek US-based venture capital funding. Both advisors support the Trade Commissioner’s (TCS) Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) program.

The program:
11:00 am – 11:30 am  Welcome remarks and CTA overview
11:30 am – 1:30 pm  Mentor-led sessions on raising venture capital in the US and building your company. A light lunch will be served.
2:00 pm – 5:00 pm  30-Minute One-on-One Meetings with mentors George “Buzz” Kenney from Boston and Adrian van Haaften from Silicon Valley for selected companies (see details below)

This event is for scaling small Nova Scotia technology companies interested in learning about how to scale and expand in the US.

George “Buzz” Kenney, Boston
A serial entrepreneur and technologist, Dr. Kenney is the co-founder and president of EntraTympanic, LLC. As a founding member and board member of the Canadian Entrepreneurs in New England (CENE) in Boston, Buzz is involved in its programs to provide Canadian companies and entrepreneurs with direct access to the Boston and US technology and business biotope.
