Louis Saint-Jacques, Co-founder & Director, Anges Québec, and Director, National Angel Capital Organization – Louis is a founder and board member of Anges Québec (WWW.ANGESQUEBEC.COM), a non-profit organization that facilitates angel investment in high-tech start-ups. He is also a director of the Société d’Investissement Jeunesse (WWW.SIJ.QC.CA), which offers loan guarantees to young entrepreneurs. A director for the National Angel Capital Organization since 2009, Louis has been offering consultant services to entrepreneurs, incubators, angels and venture capital organizations since 2010. Before that, he was a partner at ID Capital, a $75 million industrial technologies venture capital fund based in Montreal. Louis has more than 20 years of high-tech and financing experience and holds a master's degree in business administration with a specialization in small and medium-sized enterprise financing.
Matey Nedkov, Founder & President, Nedcorp Holdings, and Director, National Angel Capital Organization – Matey is the founder and president of Nedcorp Holdings Inc. (WWW.NEDCORPINC.COM), a domestic and international corporation specializing in investment banking, international corporate expansion and M&A for small and medium-sized enterprises. Nedcorp assists companies by setting up appropriate infrastructures, recruiting local management and establishing sales and distribution networks. Matey founded Infonet Media, the largest instore advertising company in Canada and Europe. The company was sold to Actmedia Inc., now a subsidiary of Newscorp, a Rupert Murdoch company.
National Angel Capital Organization – NACO (WWW.NACOCANADA.COM) is the industry association for angel capital in Canada. The organization’s mission is to build the angel investor community across Canada. NACO’s 2012 Angel Summit is being held in Halifax this week.
