Immunovaccine Appoints Marc Mansour as Chief Executive Officer

Immunovaccine Inc. (“Immunovaccine” or “IMV” or “the company”) (TSX-V: IMV), a clinical stage vaccine and immunotherapy company, today announced that Marc Mansour, Ph.D., MBA, has been appointed chief executive officer.

Lamda Guard Partners with Airbus to Test a Laser Interference Solution

Lamda Guard, a company based in Atlantic Canada, has signed an agreement with leading aircraft manufacturer Airbus to test a breakthrough innovation designed to deflect unwanted bright light or laser sources from impacting jetliner flight paths, and causing pilot disorientation or injury.

Lamda Guard's innovative thin films use metamaterial technology on cockpit windscreens to selectively block and control light coming from any angle even at the highest power levels.

Research Offers Golden Opportunity for Smarter Mining

The Nova Scotia Research and Innovation Trust (NSRIT) is helping a Saint Mary’s University professor to improve the way gold exploration is carried out in Nova Scotia.

With a growing number of companies showing interest in the province’s historic mining districts, geology professor Jacob Hanley believes new exploration models using microscope-based instrumentation can help pinpoint ore deposits more accurately.

“We can assess mineral resource potential within hidden terrain that can change the approach to routine exploration,” said Mr. Hanley.

Gaming Company to Create 26 Jobs in Moncton

Karma Gaming International will create up to 26 full-time positions over the next three years at its new development studio in Moncton.
