The Rounds Closes $1 Million Seed Capital Fundraising Effort with Funding from Innovacorp

The Rounds, a leader in physician-to-physician collaboration, today announced it has completed a $1 million seed capital fundraising effort.

The fundraising effort closed today with a $250,000 investment from Innovacorp, Nova Scotia’s early stage venture capital organization. The financing will help The Rounds accelerate growth across Canada and drive product development.

Spark Cape Breton Winners Named

Six new technology companies in Cape Breton have been named winners in the inaugural Spark Cape Breton competition.

A total of $200,000 in cash will be awarded to the following ‎companies:

Amount:  $50,000
Artisync is developing a cloud-based hub for the comic book and graphic novel industry that will allow artists to network, communicate and collaborate with each other as well as connect with potential publishers, distributors and customers.
