Nicole Leblanc

Nicole is an investor with 2150, a new urbantech and sustainability-focused venture capital fund based in Europe. 2150 works with large strategic investors to tackle industry problems to support the advancement of the UN’s 17 sustainable development goals.

Previously, Nicole was the director of investments and partnerships at Sidewalk Labs, the urban innovation arm of Google’s parent company, Alphabet, which focuses on reimagining cities to improve quality of life.

Before joining Sidewalk Labs, Nicole worked for 10 years as an investment professional with a focus on early stage financing opportunities and ecosystem development. As a director at BDC Capital, she managed the seed-stage investments and associated portfolio of over 100 companies. Prior to BDC, Nicole was the director of finance at the seed investment firm NBIF and worked in various financial and operational roles at a selection of start-ups.

Nicole holds a chartered professional accountant designation and when she is not supporting the technology ecosystem, she can be found hiking off the beaten path and cheering for the Toronto Blue Jays, preferably when the SkyDome is open.
