Susan J. McIsaac is managing partner of an independent chartered accounting firm, McIsaac Darragh Chartered Accountants. She has 25 years of experience in providing practical advisory, assurance and tax services to a broad range of small businesses and not-for-profit organizations.
Ms. McIsaac is founding member and president of the AC Group of Independent Accounting Firms Limited and as such is an ex-officio member of its board. She is also a member of the Audit and Assurance Oversight Council (AASOC), which oversees the setting of Canada’s auditing and assurance standards. Ms. McIsaac is a member of the board and executive of Mount Allison University’s Board of Regents, including serving as chair of its finance and administration committee, and as a member of the investment, property and HR committees.
Ms. McIsaac was active with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia (ICANS) for a number of years, receiving a prestigious fellowship (FCA) designation from ICANS in 2007 and completing a term as its president in 2010.
Ms. McIsaac graduated with distinction from Mount Allison University with a bachelor of commerce in 1988 and received her CA designation with honours in 1990.
